Listen To Your heart

Man is a three-part being. Essentially you are a SPIRIT BEING. You live in a BODY and you possess a SOUL. The soul of man is that part that thinks and makes decisions. It's also called the MIND. Scientists tells us that we are actually only taping only 10% of our minds which they call the CONSCIOUS MIND. The other 90% remains a hidden power. Now, as Christians we know that the 90% is actually our SPIRIT BEING. And true to the Word of God, it is a power house for from within us in our spirits is where God infuse Himself in us! Read the Bible with this perception in mind and you'll see the Bible in a different light! For example ...

Proverbs 1:33 ... "but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fer of harm." When God speaks He speaks into our spirits. Our spirits has a voice (refer to previous articles). This voice is intuitive; it is our conscience. Our conscience will guide us into the will of God because our spirits are being regenerated, born-again. So when our spirits receive information from God, our conscience speaks to us. But most of the time we are listening NOT to our conscience but to our REASONING (soul) and FEELINGS (body. That's why we are not able to discern between the right and the wrong, the good and the bad. For example ...

Swine flu. We gather information about it everyday through the newspaper and through conversations. When the mind process the information there is cause to worry. As the worries grow within us, the body begin to feel it. Immune systems goes down a little and you kinda feel sick although you are not. This can go on for as long as the media keeps telling us that things aren't getting better. But someday, this flu thing is going to pass and then new information gathers in our mind that tells us "everything's ok now." When that happens, our minds and bodies will be at ease. But what about now? In the midst of it all? Have you been listening to your heart? For out of your heart God is speaking.

Proverbs says "whoever listens" ... and you listen to God via your spirit. Have you been filling your mind with the Word of God? What is God saying? See, we gather information into our minds for processing from WITHIN and from WITHOUT! God speak from within us (our spirits). The devil speaks from without suggesting thoughts into your mind. From without comes the newspaper, the soothsayers, etc. So today, who will you list to? Which voice will you trust? And I say ... listen to your heart.

Read Psalms 1. Psalms 119:105 says "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." As you read God's Word and fill your soul (mind) with God's instructions, eventually it gets into your spirit. From there, the Holy Spirit will enlighten you and pass His Word back into your soul so you can make the right decisions. Your soul needs to connect more with your spirit than with your body. That's why David said, "Your word have I kept in my heart lest I sin against you".
