2012

I enjoy Sc-fi movies. Watched 2012 last night. Man, you've gotta watch this movie. The special effects are just superb! But what I like about Sc-fi movies is because of its link to end times. Think about this. Satan, before that was called Lucifer, was originally from heaven before he was cast down to earth. Heaven is a high tech heaven and that's the scenario where the devil came from. With his knowledge he is able to inspire movies such as Star Trek, Armageddon, ET, 2012 and the likes of it. So what about this movie 2012? Here's how I perceive it.

The story goes, the world's coming to an end according to prophecies. It finally happened. The whole earth was covered with water (like in Genesis chapter 1) and those who survived it were in the gigantic capsules just like Noah's Ark during the global flood in Genesis. The morale of the story ... just like in Armageddon, that no matter what and against all impossibilities, call it an act of God or whatever, mankind always has the resource and nature to triumph in the end!

See, satan knows what's in the Bible. He knows God's plan for him in the future. He knows what is to become of him when that day of judgment comes.YET for some strange reason, he believes he can still overthrow God and become God himself even though he tried once before in heaven and failed. How can a created being become the Creator? But satan is a liar and he believes he can still overcome God, even today! In fact, he is gathering for himself a vast army that will battle God in the Final Battle in Revelation. Bible says he and his army will be destroyed and cast into the lake of fire for all eternity and the earth will then be destroyed, not by water, but by fire and brimstone. And that will be the end of it.

In the movie 2012, mankind is able to defy nature (God) and triumph! So the devil is programming the minds of the inhabitants of earth suggesting that there is no need to believe in God or fear God because all these "acts of God" could never overcome mankind because mankind has the resource and will to survive! That no matter what or who, mankind will always triumph in the end. So you see, by the time the Tribulation begins on earth, mankind will still defy God because just like in the movies, survival is our forte and come what may, even the onslaughts from God, man can become God and survive! Subtle huh? Like in Superman, Rambo, etc the world is already being "programmed" to believe and to embrace the one man who will rise up and save the world. Bible of course calls him the anti-christ.

In the movie 2012, the world ended with a flood and those who survived it started a new world. In reality, the world will end with fire and brimstone. The movie, Knowing ... depicts the earth will one day be consumed by solar flares from the sun. That my friend, is exactly what the Bible prophesies. But here's the truth ...

Jesus narrated that there will be 2 men working in the field. One taken up and the other left behind. 2 women working in the mill. One taken up and the other left behind. 10 virgins tending to a wedding. 5 foolish virgins was not prepared and missed out on the wedding. 1 out of 2 ... 5 out of 10 ... that's 50 percent! Would it surprise you if I say that on that fated day when the Trumpets sound and the Rapture takes place, that only 50 percent of Christians will make it? Didn't Jesus say that on that day, "many shall know and my door and ..." but Jesus said "depart from me ... I know you not?"

Don't you believe int he Rapture? Don't you even think that today you are living in the end times? Where is your treasure? For where your treasure is, your heart is also.
